Some new modifications on the DBS
Recently lowered the car further (I know some will like it, some won't) by swapping the Velocity AP springs for H&R. Was really looking to eliminate the wheel gap with the fenders and achieved what I was going for. Super happy with the final "stance" of the car. (*note if anyone looking for VAP DBS spring I'll give you a great deal on a gently used set!)
Also added OEM glass buttons to the entire interior, ECPS matte carbon cluster surround, V Collection carbon side sills, and the Performance MRP air straightners (to hopefully put an end to P0171 and P0174 due to the airbox deletes, so far so good).
Recently had the front end done in new PPF as well as a new ceramic coating. Lastly just fitted the new DBS/DB9 AM Upgrades headlight vent system. Hoping to check off the final thing I'd like to do with the car this winter which is to have the Divinatech tail lights done. I need to upload some videos at some point, the car sounds incredible with the Velocity AP headers/cats and X pipe! After 5 exhaust iterations I think I'm finally content...for now.
Tried my best to keep the car tasteful and more of an OEM+ example while still making it unique.

purely for aesthetics, they changed them up on I believe all models in 2012. More modern of a design. Was able to find a used set off what I’m assuming was a parts car on eBay a while back

As someone who is looking into the VAP headers and secondaries, but who wants to keep the Aston Martin V12 "sound", I'd be interested to hear how you find the sound of the exhaust now with the changes and the five iterations you've been through...The equal-length headers certainly seem to increase the pitch of the exhaust tone and I'm wondering if there is a way to dial that down.
Any insight would be appreciated!

bought the car and had a quicksilver supersport muffler on it. Sounded incredible. Keeps the factory am sound (but better in my opinion). 1st place tie for best sounding.
decided to do the Vap headers and secondary cats and kept the quicksilver ss muffler. Sounded awful, like a boat. Incredibly and unbearably loud. Last place by a landslide
swapped out the quicksilver ss for a vap touring muffler. Sounded great. More high pitched than my original setup without the headers and cats. However at idle it was very quiet. Tie 2nd
swapped out the vap touring for a factory muffler. Sounded much more like an aston and added the cc remote to control the valves. In the mid range the sound though still was just okay. Kind of trumpety for lack of better term. Tie for 2nd
added on a vap x pipe. That’s where I am now. The x pipe quiets things down a bit. Cleaned up the sound and really sounds incredible at high rpm. I’d label it as an in between ground between a Ferrari/lambo and an aston. Tie for first place
i still have the quicksilver muffler, thinking of throwing it on to hear how it sounds now with the x pipe. My guess is it’ll just be a louder version but similar sound to what’s on the car now.
I have videos of all the setups, shoot me a message with your number and I can text you the sound clips of what you’re looking for

Thanks very much. That would be great! As you well know, it's not an inexpensive upgrade and, while the extra power would be nice, the real objective is to guarantee against failure and ingestion of the primary cats. The last thing I want to do is to end up regretting the work because of the exhaust sound (I too am currently running the OEM muffler with the CC Charger remote).
Unfortunately, it looks as though I haven't posted often enough to have PM enabled.

just had a chance to install these puddle lights. Impressed with the quality! Zero modification needed, complete housing replacement. Install took 1 minute per side. Very bright and the first Ive seen without the redundant Aston Martin written in the logo as well as underneath the wing badge. Pictures don’t do them justice.

Not anymore...We used to have the "Drive Clean" program that required emissions tests every X years but they have since done away with testing for light passenger vehicles, as of April 2019. There is still the outside chance of a roadside inspection/test but I suspect that you would be at risk of that only if you were very obviously not meeting emissions standards (e.g. the "rolling coal" crew...). For the most part, the testing seems to be directed at older heavy-duty diesel trucks.

Your car is beautiful! Love the puddle lights. I definitely got to do that!
