Another successful meetup. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it. Its always nice to see you all again.
We had all 3 generations of DB9 as well this time, 450hp, 470hp and 510hp.

Weather was perfect. I didn't take many pictures but someone took some moving shots. Please post them here. Thanks.

Hello folks.

Sorry for the silence. Life got in the way a little. Some sad, some good.

Bought another Aston (but won't be here till September). Sean Connery drives a DB5, but what does James Bond drive?

I was also hoping covid numbers would go down and we could try book a restaurant but Santa Clara County is still reporting 1k+ cases a day. So once again, please join me for a drive and picnic lunch at the beach.

Signup sheet in the usual place/group page - https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ton-group.html

For those seeing this for the first time, here are some pictures from previous drives. This is really meant to be a social event. So please bring your spouse/partner/friend and lets get together at the beach.

Another Aston Group with 8 Astons

The Midwest Aston Martin Owners Group (about 30+ members) had a 3 1/2 hour drive from Minneapolis to Vino in the Valley in Wisconsin. The 8 Astons in the picture were actually 9 (one bowed out just before the destination). A 928 and a BMW joined along the drive - no breakdowns and the largest group yet on a single drive. The big challenge is to keep the 11 car group together which we did about 95% of the route. The over all Astons were One DB7 and 6 V8 Vantages and 2 V12S Vantages.

ages and 2 V12S.

Video nice meeting y'all

Hey everyone,

Was a real pleasure getting to meet some of you face to face this morning, and enjoy a nice drive. Due to the pandemic my social interactions have been pretty minimal and I've gone a bit feral, so it was nice to emerge and chit chat a bit and remember how to talk again. haha. And there's really no better way to get acquainted with my new to me '15 vantage GT. Was nice to see how it felt in the tighter corners. It was a great run, minimal traffic and the traffic we did encounter mostly let us by.

I turned around at alice's to head home as I had a lunch date with the wife, but the drive over to the beach through la honda must've been a gorgeous one! Will join you all next time for the full leg!

And as promised, here's the video I captured today!

Nice video.

It was great to see familiar faces again as well as to meet new folks. The weather was excellent. Forecast was for cold and clouds but it was sunny and warm.

We waited an additional 15min for 2 people who didn't show. Please try get in touch if you change your mind last minute so we don't wait for you.

I know others took better pictures than I did.
