New Vantage Service Light Reset

Went to my Indy for my first oil change. Could not reset the service light. I bought 2 different Foxwell reset models that were suppose to do the trick but wouldn’t work. Can anyone suggest a different reset tool?
Thanks much.

Being MB based you may have to look into SIA reset for Mercedes vehicles. How much did they charge for your service?

That's definitely the least expensive, I wouldn't even entertain the thought of DIY.

Which Foxwell models did you try?

On some forum, I can’t remember which one, a guy said his NT680 pro worked great for the new Vantage. This has the multi make software so maybe he was actually using the Mercedes sw rather than the AM.

I’ve started to look into buying one but there are so many choices, it is rather confusing. The NT 530 seems to be the simplest but not sure “ this” AM sw works on the new century cars…even though the Foxwell website says all years. Then there is the NT 710 which seems to be an updated 530…same functionality, different operating system, touchscreen. Then there’s the NT809 multi brand unit it but not clear how the functionality of this unit differs from the 680.

I guess I’ll send Foxwell a lengthy email next week and see where it gets me. I’ll post of I get back anything useful.

Btw…there’s a video on YouTube where a guy shows how to reset the oil service light using just the buttons on the steering wheel. He does it on a DB11 but apparently it also works on the Vantage.
