ram, can't argue with that. My point was that big depreciation is by no means just an Aston thing. I did buy my '09 V8 Vantage new, but I was pretty sure I'd never sell it, so the depreciation hit didn't really matter. All these years later, I still don't think I'll ever sell it.

A car never loses value if you don't sell it.

I agree...
i bought my '09 V8V in 2017 in great shape, 22k miles for a steal... after 7 years I can sell it for likely 15% to 20% more than I paid for it...
An Aston is not an "investment" per se... it's just a driving pleasure. If you can make money (or not lose money) on a car, it's based on how well you buy it initially.

Okay... I might need to update my answer.

I just walked past Q New York where they just took delivery of a prototype NEW New Vantage (supposedly, the first in North America? Who knows). I will tell you—as beautiful as it looks in photos, it is even better in person. The interior is also lightyears ahead of my expectations. It's a complete revolution of the nameplate despite a few carryover components.

While I'd still like to hang on to my 2010 forever, it's a good thing I didn't drive it there today as it may have remained parked as a deposit. Driving impressions will hopefully come in a few months at a test-drive event.

Enjoy the photo.

Spdrcrj is infamous around these parts
I'm new to the AM brand and still learning. I would not trade my Vanquish for one. If it was my only car/daily driver....maybe. But I spec'd out one and it was over $300k. Tough sell when I have the title for the Vanquish in my safe.

Photos for reference.
