V8 Vantage Parking brake pads replacement procedure

Good day!
I am planning to replace the parking brake pads on my 2007 V8 Vantage. I am familiar with regular brake service and I have already replaced the pads all around but the parking one seems a bit different.
Before I start unbolting things, does anyone have a good tutorial on how to go about it?
I searched a bit on YouTube and the best I saw was someone taking off the rotors and leaving the calipers in place. In my case, I don't need to replace the rotors so I wonder if that's really the best way to go about it.
Thanks!

I've only done it a couple of times, but I found it easiest to split the caliper by removing the two bolts. Makes it easier to access the mechanism to wind it back.
Also, Porterfield parking brake pads don't squeak. I'd use them again in a flash.
