Does your DB9 sound system suck?
#16
I have an '06 DB9 with the middle range 260watt Linn system & I'm not at all impressed. Mid range American cars have better stock sound systems In addition to mediocre audio fidelity, the AM band is useless as it gets constant static. That said, I didn't buy it for the sound system.

The Linn systems don't have a great reputation I'm afraid, but they can sound very good if you set them up correctly. My advice is to have a good long play with the set-up (including surround levels etc, also check the subwoofer is working ok) and I'm sure you will get more pleasure, particularly from the range topping 950watt system.
From the 2008 MY onwards (autumn 07) the DB9 has the same Premium Alpine system that is an option on the Vantage, this is better than all the Linn sound systems (but still needs setting up).
B&O then became an option from April 09.

The fix!!
I’ve always thought the Linn 950W sound system wasn’t the greatest… Until I found this hidden menu enabling Dolby Logic, after ticking that it sounds the way you would expect from such a high end manufacturer such as Linn!
Here’s a video on how to do it as the menu is not even available if the stereo is turned off:
