Guys,

Need to spec my R8 soon - new brochure came through from Audi showing the select colour options - pick any colour you want!

What do you guys think of an R8 painted in Orange (like Lamborghini Arancio Ishatar - the flat dark orange colour) - maybe with a carbon blade??...and possibly black wheels??

I think it might look great!

I believe Audi has a factory orange color called "glut orange" (or glow orange?) that is similar to what you're looking for. Here's some pics of a new Audi TT in that color:

I have a deposit on a V10 R8...when I spec it, this will definitely be the color I'll order.

 

orange would be dope....lambo orange is nice..alotta pearl to it..my friends lambo orange zx14...

 

Orange is a very color for the R8. There's a guy in UAE that has one, can't find the pics though.

 

Love your collection of cars Dealmaker. The orange would be nice, but I have seen a red one which I think looks absolutely NUTS.

Audi has Solar Orange for the S3. It looks really good in person, although I believe it's neither metallic nor pearl.
