I can't believe the exhausts are fake... if you are going to make something that flashy it better at least be legit....
I'd take the RS4 in a flash.... but (puts flame suit on)... i'd still take the new M3 over either

@ this:
Freaky Styley
Unfortunately, before you can take a seat behind the wheel of the Lexus IS-F, you have to, you know, see it. We accept that the question of styling is largely a subjective matter. So there might be some Toyota fanboys who will admire the IS-F's nose — so like that of a Beluga whale. They might even like the dewlaplike growths behind the front wheels. But no one of sound mind could love the stacked quad exhaust tips. This is at least partly because they are not actually exhaust tips. In fact, they are not connected to the exhaust system in any way. They are simply jewelry for the rear fascia. It's an uncharacteristically cheesy execution by Lexus.

Only two of the quad tips on the E46 M3 were functional. Not as bad as the Lexus, but still pretty dumb.
The numbers are only half the story. Lexus has a ways to go to be able to compete with the S/RS and M cars.

That's disappointing. I was expecting much more from Toyota/Lexus. Especially with cars like the Supra and MR2.
Hopefully they'll learn and improve it even more. There's also rumors of a GS-F currently in the works.

That was only on the Dinan exhaust. The factory exhaust had all four tips functional.

i've never driven the IS-F, but i HAVE driven the RS4... and frankly, i am 100% entirely unimpressed by it. between the 2, IS-F for me... and btw. C&D got like a 4.1 to 60 on the IS-F... i don't recall their quarter time.

you guys are blowing up the whole extra exhaust pipe thing for nothing. the porsche tips are also gimmicky. no one needs a nice exhaust tip. they're there for aesthetic reasons.
the IS-F is faster in the straights than an RS4. those stats are bunk up top.

exactly. Porsche tips aren't functional either.... you have some giant oval stainless steel piece screwed onto a 3 inch aluminized steel exit pipe. whoopty doo.
