Looking at buying a used RS4...Questions

I am looking to replace my A6 with something with a little more soul. What should I ask the seller regarding the vehicle.? I have never bought a used vehicle from a private seller before. The vehicle I'm interested in is an 07 with about 30K miles on it.
What should I specifically be aware of when looking into a used performance vehicle?

Thanks for the help,

It is not about asking questions but inspecting closely ... if you are not car savy, get somebody who is to look at it.

From your point of view, check each panel and wheel one at a time ... check the service history ... phone the last dealer ...

Call Diablo Audi in Concord, CA. They're discounting $10K off on new '08 RS4s.

fwiw, $10k off sounds pretty mediocre right now....guys are talking about $12-13k off in some spots...which makes sense to me given where the new m3 sedan is trading (big discounts there as well), which seems to be in the low $60's well equipped. if i were in the market i'd be targeting low mileage used ones which are likely in the $50-54 area...but good luck in your search!!

Our area is pretty dry RS4 wise, but I'm seriously considering picking one up very soon. All this talk about 12-13k off really got me going, can anyone recommend a dealership/sales associate to contact or how to go about finding a dealership offering that discount?
