My R8 taken down by M6

What's up with your choice between getting a CTS-V and a Bentley Continental GT! That seems like a big difference in riding style.

Speaking of CTS-V, R8, and M6, here are some Ring lap-times:
8:09 --- 151.66 km/h - BMW M6, 507 PS/1761 kg (sport auto 12/05)
8:02 --- 153.99 km/h - Audi R8, 420 PS/1620 kg (AutoBild sportscars 11/08)
8:09 --- 151.66 km/h - Audi RS4, 420 PS/1728 kg (sport auto 06/06)
At the time, the RS4 was the fastest 4-door sedan (beat the mighty E60 V10 M5 by 4 secs and posted identical time as the M6). Now the CTS-V is sub 8mins, which means it beats the R8...
8:13 --- 150.43 km/h - BMW M5 (E60), 507 PS/1844 kg (sport auto 12/04)
7:59.22 154.70 km/h - Cadillac CTS-V, 550 PS/??? kg,
8:09 --- 151.66 km/h - BMW M6, 507 PS/1761 kg (sport auto 12/05)

I am planning to take my car down to take it to the next level ( twin turbo)
But I need something to drive in the mean time I was pretty set on the CTS-V. But after driving my brothers GTC I really fell in love with that car, and I just saw one with 8,000 miles on it for $75k
So if I can get the Bentley and do some simple modifications to get it to about 650 hp....that might be a choice worth looking at!

What year GTC did you see for 75K and 8 thousand miles?

Yeah 04's are pretty cheap now. You can pick up 06's with 15k miles for 90k. I would go that route before buying a 04.
FYI. the GT is an amazing car. I have done alot of mods to mine it's an 07 and I would tell anyone who is interested to buy one. An amazing car.

I have not had the car dynoed, but when the giac chip was put on and the exhaust I was told the HP went from 552hp to 652hp.
In terms of driving the car is fast!!!

Yeah my car is quite a bit faster than a GT Speed even, but it can't even hold a lugnut to the Bentley. What an exquisite treat of a car, my brother was the first one ( allegedly ) in the country to put a GTC on 24's. No one would do them and he found a tuner shop that measured and had them fitted.

Why drive around in the same car like everyone else has, there are alot of Bentley's on 22's. Same thing I heard on the Range Rover forums when looking for rims everyone was saying get 22's. 24's won't fit no one has done them it will rub. I went with the 24's, and guess what now one is on 26's? If you aint pushing the envelope you aint pushing
