I'd go with rs4 just because the rs4 front is decent, rear is nice and it has nice wide fenders, b8 front is nice but rear is ugly lol
idk its kind of tough because neither of them have any nice exterior mods which is something that is important to me
just get an s5 lol

I own a 2007 RS4 so I'm probably biased, but would you rather have 330 hp or 420 hp! Plus better brakes on the RS4, more agressive bodywork on the RS4, and much more rare! I have only seen one other RS4 and I have had my car since September, 2006.

Like everyone has said - both cars are great but I would go for the RS4. Smaller car, faster and very responsive and rarer.

Despite the exciting and unknown potential of the newer platform, the rs4 is rarer and the performer.

However, I've referenced this photo of Sizzle's many times before. Although this is of a S5, not the S4, the point is still the same. As beautiful and muscular as the arches on the rs4 are, the newer body styles simply make it look outdated IMO.

The performance advantage that the RS4 offers is marginal, and will become obsolete once the S4 is tuned. The B8 is truly amazing.

rs4 dropped would be sick , its very limited also.

the comparison above isnt very fair. the S5 has wheels and a drop...

the rs4 with wheels and a drop looks just as nice imo.

Drag racing isn't everything, but I think its funny that 11's at 115+ is impressive.

There are lots of examples out there that can do this:

Wow, I started this thread and hadn't checked back in a while. Tt seems to have gotten off topic for a while and now back onto topic. I'm still hung up on the B8 S4 as of now. I think I need the little extra interior space compared to the RS4.

I agree that 115mph isn't all that impressive anymore. Heck, my '05 Cadillac CTS-V (with Magnuson supercharger) used to trap 119mph and I couldn't ET better than a 12.4s pass. Thing just wouldn't hook on street tires. It was quite the hwy monster though...torque simply everwhere and in every gear. Displacement is the name of the game son!

Sorry, I got carried away. Anyways, I'd take a B8 S4 over the RS4. I love the RS4, but I think the S4 has the potential to be a newer beast. I have an S5 and I'm certain that I would have bought an S4 if it were available when I bought mine.

If you are always in traffic you should buy Audi s4 but if you go to places where there is no traffic you would better get rs4 because if you do tuning for s4 you will loose the waranty (even though it never stoped us)
b8 s4 rs4
