Hello folks,

We've been anxious to bring in an S5 for some dyno testing ever since G.I.A.C. released their 4.2L S5 software.

The stars aligned and MihokS5 was kind enough to loan us his gorgeous car for a day.

Specs on the car:
2008 S5 with 6 Speed Manual Transmission

The car has our S5 Exhaust System installed.

All testing was done on the same day, same dyno with strict controls in place to ensure the most accurate results.







Now onto the results:

Peak gains were 8whp and 10 lb ft of torque. Using a correction factor of 1.28, 22% drivetrain loss, this equates to an additional 10 hp and 13 lb ft at the crank.

As with all dyno plots, the peak numbers only tell part of the story. Notice the usable power increases everywhere in the rpm band, especially the low end.
