Yeah most likely. I'm on KW V3's now (was Eibach pro-kit in the pic) and my buddy is on H&R coilovers. There's so much room, I believe someone has even tried 20x11.5 rear with stretch tire and negative camber, but I daily drive 20x11 on all sorts of dips and bumps with no issue. In my opinion, running 19 or 20 x10 all around with staggered offset is the best size for the car for handling, but having 305's out back looks really mean so it's a trade off.

Have you ever driven with anyone in the back? I wonder if that would make a difference in the rubbing departement.

Hey Forza Forged, I am interested in pricing for these wheels for my black 09 S5. Can't PM you because I am new. Looking for same finish on 20x11 in back and 20x9 in front. Send me lip sizes, your number and pricing in your pm.

Thanks,

I like the set above except I can't help but thinking it's a knockoff of the HRE 790R.

Mine and a buddy's S5's (his with the actual HRE 790R), both running 20x9, 255/30r20 front and 20x11, 305/25r20 rear (some A5OC members are running 315's on slightly higher offset with no rub):
How does the 4wd react to the considerable tire width difference between the front and back? If I am not mistaken the S5 comes with equal width tires on all 4 corners from the factory. Isnt there a risk of damaging the 4wd system? Not bashing just asking....your car is mouth watering

Good point about tire rotation, although you would more than likely only be able to go front to back because the majority of performance tires are directional. I'm not sure on the torque split bias on the S5, but running staggered widths shouldn't be an issue.

Now I have read that running different diameter wheels on the Audi quattro system will eventually cause some damage.
The professionals can correct me here if I am wrong. AWD cars are sensitive when it comes to altering tyre widths that are not within certain ratios between front and back. Most audi quattros (except r8 i guess) come with the same tyre sizes on all corners. Now if you go way wider on the rear, that will disturb the balance of power/stress distribution on the drive train and differentials and could eventually cause damage. Thats why it is also recommended that on a 4wd car you run the same tyres on all corners and make sure they are evenly worn. Certain AWD exotics come with staggered setups lambos, R8s but that has already been taken into consideration when the cars drivetrain was developed. My question is.....is it a good idea to run a staggered set-up that different from the factory settings? Again....no offence to anybody just trying to understand.

Nice rides, you mind sharing what the color is on the left side S5? Is that quartz grey?
