Pricing on 07 A4 Avant needed ASAP!
Mini Coop S is great fun and all but not so practical. Gonna trade in for something a bit larger as a DD.
Found a local CPO'd (about 70K more miles and 3 more years on the warranty) 6 speed 2007 A4 Avant with S-line, convenience, cold weather pkgs, bluetooth. Test drove it....its no 997TT But good enough for it's intended purpose. A few cosmetic issues (few scratches in the paint, small ding on the hatch).
Most CPO'd examples I've seen with similar options run in the high 20's. What do you think would be a reasonable price? Gonna try to drag the wifey tomorrow to see it and maybe do the deal so need input NOW!
Thanks!

Price seems kind of high. A buddy of mine just picked up a CPO'ed 2007 S4 Avant (manual too!) with 40K on it from a dealer in CT for $27k. Not sure what the market is like on 2.0T's though. Avants were rare in S4 so I would think the S4 should fetch more then a 2.0T.

Thanks Tom. I wish I could find a CPO'd S4!
And there is no way I would pay the $33 they are asking. Without knowing the options on your friend's S4, would you think $30 is 'fair' considering the lower mileage?

They vary quite a bit. If you want a low mileage CPO it should be high 20k range. If you don't need CPO and can deal with 40-60k miles, low 20k range is doable. I've got a dealer license so I can look up the Manheim recent sales.

I offered 29.5, manager emailed me back and offered $29,995 + fees. Still think it's a bit high. Don't think they'll go any lower. Thoughts?

Thanks, that would be great! Sounds like your estimates are right with what I've found. But I'm looking strictly at CPO's with less than 40K miles.

No way I'd pay close to asking for that car, it doesn't even have Navi. We are actually looking for a B7 Avant and I've seen a couple here in the Bay with similar mileage and model year for $26-28K.

Are these cars CPO'd?

May I ask where you get that figure from? The ones I've seen on autotrader in that price range typically have 40K+ miles and fewer options. I really have no idea where to price this thing. Seems like the numbers are all over the place.
