Coolant and Power Steering Fluid Change Intervals?

Coolant and Power Steering Fluid Change Intervals?
I have an '03 A4 1.8T and the dealer is suggesting a coolant flush and power steering fluid change. The owner's manual doesn't talk about fluid change intervals other than brake fluid every two years.
Does anyone know the proper change intervals for these fluids?

Off the top of my head, I know that g12 is a long life coolant. Most long life coolants suggest you change them at 150k miles. I recently flushed the system on my a4 at 130k just because it looked nasty. If you choose to do it yourself, make sure is g12 or g12+, do not mix those two together. And they should also be mixed 1:1 with distilled water. I guess if it looks anything other than pink kool aid, change it.
Just looked up audi power steering fluid. This source says it should be change every 30,000miles (oops i havent done that in quite sometime) http://www.blauparts.com/audi/audi_f...ng_fluid.shtml
Hope that helps,
Peter

Thanks guys, my A4 has 68k miles on it. I've owned it for 4 years but never changed either. Because it's a low mileage car (about 6-8k per year), I think time intervals would be the driving factor rather than mileage...
I've heard some independents generalize German cars need both of these every 3-4 years, but was curious on Audi's specifically. My Porsche apparently has 'coolant for life' - don't know if I trust that!

Just did a little more research, g12 is considered a "life time" coolant. So both your a4 and porsche, apparently, don't need to have it changed. But like I said previously, I flushed mine out just cause it looked murky.
