Autobild has released the power numbers for the upcoming Audi S and RS cars

S6: V8-Biturbo with 440HP (debut at L.A. Motorshow Nov.)
S7: same engine with 470 HP (L.A. Motorshow Nov.)
S8: same engine with 500HP (Frankfurt Motorshow Sept.)
RS6: same engine with 580HP (coming next year)

 

Interesting. If the motors are the same, down to the components, with just detuning from the RS6 to the S6, then there should be some enticing tuning options for the S6.

 

Is Audi going to sell the RS6 in the states again then?

 

exactly, S7 and S6 should be bargain, considering that it is the same (detuned) engine.
