My impressions after 1 week R8V10

Excellent review.
I've narrowed my next car purchase down to an R8 (most likely). But for now, I can only see a V8 in my future. I'd like a V10 (who wouldn't?), but the prices are keeping them at bay.
In your opinion, how much of the driving experience is enhanced by the V10 model (and all of the options that it comes with)?
Also - because I anticipate sharing this car with the wife, R-tronic is in my future (eagerly awaiting the dual clutch transmission).

Realistically, both have more than enough power for driving around town so it's not a huge issue. For me, the spec'd V8 almost worked out to same price as a used V10 - for me that made it an obvious choice When I test drove the V8, it felt very fast (relative to cayman) and it sounds great too!
I used Nav once, to test it out and will probably never use it again. The headlights are neat but some prefer the appearance of the V8. I think those are two of the main V10 included options...
Saw this vid recently Not sure how hard the V8 is pressing the pedal...

I would love to drive a V10. The to compare list, if only could be done in one day, GT2RS, V10 R8, and the new Vet. If anyone has all three, I'll let them borrow my 997 Turbo if I can drive all three

Great review! I just wish audi would do something different with their steering wheel and dash to set their more expensive cars apart...the wheel looks to belong in an A4.
Great car choice btw, I love seeing these roll down the road

Actually, the R8 'borrowed' the steering wheel, seats, side view mirrors, and some of the interior ***** from the TT. Maybe that's why they look like they came from a less exclusive car - they did!

I'm not a fan of 'expensive' steering wheels, and 'inexpensive' steering wheels. Why not - make the best steering wheel possible, and put it in the entire line-up?
Why purposely cheapen the lower and of the spectrum? I think this would cheapen the entire brand.
Now I've seen the opposite. Cadillac makes nice seats and steering wheels, but the Corvette is still more closely related to a Cobalt. Why not take the XLR-S steering setup, and put that on a Cobalt? (Obviously costs are involved here, but wouldn't it be cheaper to process 100,000 of the same steering wheel, instead of 10 of these, 50 of those, etc...?)
