R8 prices falling?

Well the ad reads like the records are available on the 5.2 ... I'd say it's at least worth a look. And Carmax usually only takes 'better' cars.
======= 5.2 ad =======================
Hard to find All scheduled maintenance, Maintenance records available, GPS system, Fully loaded, Highway miles, Non-smoker, No accidents, New tires, Performance tires, Runs & drives great, Very clean interior, Still under factory warranty, Well maintained, 4 Brand new tires This has a original MSRP of $164,000 new. A very limited production car.

The Carmax one does look busted on the interior, look at the seats and trim. The 5.2 is priced right but that is a busy Carfax. Sometimes the price is too good to be true for a reason. Plus, at that pricepoint I'm weighing 991 C2S with PDK, sports chrono plus, sunroof, PSE, and ventilated seats (<$115K). Decisions, decisions.

Thanks rvhpno80 ;-)
I just called the dealership and got the full lowdown on the car. If I didn't need to wait 6 months I'd be checking this out for myself.
Car is GM's car - he bought from dealer friend after it was traded in at local Lambo dealership. He's put 12k miles on the car and it's just been serviced (22K service) at local Audi dealership - new tires and all maint up to date. He's only selling because he doesn't want to put more miles on it and he wants a Turbo S cab :-). Of course that's the perks of being in the car biz and with dealership tags he pays no tax in CA.
Car is loaded- and has the 'nice' wheels. In service date was 9/30/2009 so two years left on warranty and I'm sure you can get it CPO'd or just buy the better Audi Pure Protection plan.
Carbon Fiber compartment trim - $3600.
Enhanced Leather - $3600.
Carbon sigma interior inlays - $2500.
Carbon sideblades - $2300.
Black Alcantara headliner - $1300.
Someone who wants an R8 should jump on this (heck I've already done all the preliminary work for you :-). I have not seen any R8 V10's anywhere near this price and some sellers are asking almost as much for the V8 version.
I'm waiting for him to send me the carfax.
PM me for GM's email and name -
BTW - I have no affiliation to seller

Just missed a great deal...2010 4.2 only 500 miles! silver/black with 6MT and option packages sold for $106K at an audi dealer in NW. Darn. It was only there for a couple days and I was one day too late. But I think this supports the idea that prices are finally coming down on these.
