Those acceleration times are not impressive, the new a6 does 60 in 5.2sec. So 4.8 for the s6 is such a small improvement. I hope they are conservatively estimating.
I was checking out an a6 for a DD and the techno features it offers is way ahead of other german makers (bmw, mb, porsche). My wife said I cant spend more then 500/mo for an extra car since I dont want to put to many miles on my CTT. But there is no way the a6 is going to be close to that payment and I will definitley have to have all the goodies with it. Audi is stepping up their game, watch out bmw.

The new A6 3.0 TFSI does the 0-62mph (not 60!) in 5.5 sec.,
the new S6 4.0 TFSI does the 0-62mph in 4.8 sec., that`s 0.7 seconds faster.
that´s surely a different level.
