Give us your thoughts on it versus the Cayman S.
I have had a tt v6 and a Boxster S, very different cars. The Porsche felt more connected to the road, lighter and had the better steering.
The tt had the better interior. It felt heavier on its feet, though that worked in its favor on the streets.
Both engines sounded great.
The TT RS is a far better car than the old VR6 based tt.
I'm considering a replacement for my 2010 S4. The TT RS or a used 997 ate at the top of the list.

Really different cars
CaymanS - $66K for a bare bones car - no nav/bluetooth/sat radio etc.Razor sharp steering, rear drive, balanced - I modded the crap out of it without going to a turbo and it was quick but not fast.Porsche needs to get over their focus on outdated 911 and develope this platform to get me back in the fold! A Cayman RS with 380-400 HP and a decent set of features would get my wallet open. TT RS has a killer motor with huge upside! 65K loaded w/ nav/bluetooth etc. All wheel drive handling is different - brake early - slow in/fast out. Magnetic ride shocks are a keeper but I will lower the car and do sways. Needs a 250 lb diet! Steering isn't as sharp but ultimate grip is about the same.TT RS definitely more exclusive.

H&R springs in the garage - also have H&R sways
and adjustable drop links going on at same time. HPA Haldex controller and tranny mount, Diesel Geek short shifter, Pagid RS4-2 pads, stainless lines and stock rear drilled rotors,Motul fluid will join the fray. Ceramic tint is done, Escort 9500xi hardwired, and clear bra goes on Monday . Going to finish mods with Forge larger intercooler,Scorpion full exhaust, and GIAC tune! Plan is to hit the track in April at Spring Mountain Audi Club event.
