hey guys! so i finally decided to trade in my 911 and get another r8!

i'm torn on one thing...color. i had silver one last time - and now i cant decide between daytona gray and lava gray. i have yet to see the lava in person...just looking for some opinions here...

is lave too close to black? pain to keep clean?

i dont see it as a standard color choice for the 4.2...a bit too light either way...

yup - think i'm leaning this way....and sepang blue is only on the 5.2

i like that idea...i am having a hard time finding more info on getting the exclusive colors...can i only do that in the dealership?

 

Yes talk to your Sales Rep, if he does not know what you are talking about, talk to a diffrent Rep or a Difffrent Dealer that knows what you are talking about.

Audi Exclusive allows you to Paint your Audi to Any VAG Group (Audi, VW, Skoda, Seat, Bentley, Bugatti, etc) Colour including Porsche Colours.

 

i'm sure he knows...i'll call him in the am...i was hoping i could get more info online first.....any clue what it costs?

 

in Canada i think its $5000 for Audi Exclusive, Could be less.

Are you married to Grey?
I find it tiring to see Audis in Grey, Black, Silver all the time. At least in my region, its rare if you see them in any other palette but the aforementioned.

 

well - the decision has been made.....

I brought the wife down to Audi today to check out some colors with me. They had a Daytona Gray in the showroom. She loved it. I'm not stoopid.
(Keep the wife happy and she continues to have no problem with me buying toys)

I ordered it in Daytona Gray.
