W12 exhaust???????? Need help.
I would like to do an exhaust mod for my W12, does anyone know which tuner makes one and if their is multiple tuners who do which one has the best sound? I don't want one really loud just enough to get a nice sound from the 12 cylinder engine.

Eisenhausen will probably be more loud than what I think he is going for,
I emailed Milltek who I think makes the best and reasonably priced exhaust for Audi's regarding my S8 and they said in the first quarter of 2007 they should have one out for the S8. If I were you ask them about the W12, they might have something out already.
MTM is great and if they have one it will proly be in the neighborhood of almost $10k, which is ridiculous. Their RS6 exhaust was almost $7k.
They are an excellent tuner but that is just way too much money for some pipes and a muffler.

If I were you I would also look into getting a custom exhaust made for the car. Buy some good mufflers and resonators and work with a quality exhaust shop to come up with a good design. Of course, this is entirely dependent on whether there are exhaust shops in your area.
Also, this would cost far less than any other options that have already been brought up. Good luck.

Kraeburn makes a good point. If a guy I knew was still around he would make me an exhaust for my S8 better than anyone else out there.
However, the problem with making a custom exhaust is pretty much the same one with anything "custom" in the sense they cant tell you how much it is going to cost you total until they are done with it. Also your car will be down for awhile, maybe a couple of days maybe a week depending on how well/fast the "pipe bender" is. Also how do you know what kind of muffler's and resonators to get, I mean as far as sound is concerned that is.
We dont want the cars sounding like a Nascar vehicle.
I have thought of going that route before but decided against it, in a couple of months time someone out there will have an exhaust for the S8/W12 Audis for around $3k or less. That is much better than having one custom made at least for these types of cars.
