Talking The story of my ABT AS4... from beginning to end

Hey guys and girls...

So ive been a looker on 6speed for a long time now, and finally decided to post. I had a 2005.5 Audi B7 A4 2.0TQ which i built and recently parted out. It was such a fun journey and i really made some true friends along the way. I built it in 2 years. Went through 8 sets of wheels and 3 sets of brakes haha. It was such a fun trip but i miss the car so so much. it was parted out completely except for the black roof and mirros, coil overs, milltek exhasut and
headlights. if you ever see my car around San Diego/ So-cal give the new owner a thumbs up

It started from a standard a4 on mothers day 2005.
It soon went from stock to 18” CHs, brembos 4pot 355s and full stereo

Soon after, my BBS Sponsorship came thru with a set of 19” CHs and did the Projector Headlight Converison
After that i went from the CH's to 20” CKs and the one of the First ABT AS4's in north america with everything exterior, enterior and exhaust.

Then got tid of the CKs, and went with a set of HRE C20s in flat black, painted the roof black, and got a silver cf hood as well as the Creative Autoworks FMIC, exhasut and test pipe.

These were the money shots loved by many…

After that, I went from the 19” C20s to a set of 20” Modulare M7s with a brushed face, with black accents, black lip and brushed pinstripes.
The Silver Brembo 4 piston 355s were replaced for the new Brembo 6 piston 355s in red.

And now its all gone i miss it so much already... But will build a new car in the future

BTW, my wheels are still for sale

Thanks
Alex

Thanks for all the kind words. The 20" CKs were probably my cleanest look on the car. very classy but still crazy at the same time. i think i like that stage the most to be completely honest...

As for all the work then selling it? i enjoyed the car for 2 years, and then it came to a point were it coulnt be a daily driver anymore. Too many things could go wrong. i drove it often but coulndt justify keeping it. sold the car, for a better investment

wow, that was one beautiful car. I love the ABT spoiler, I wish I saw that before I put the carbon fiber one on my '07 S4!

what are you driving now? If you want to start another Audi project I'm selling mine... I feel the need for a larger car now.
