Has anyone had any success selling a vehicle to CarMax? id hate to go that route (id rather see it to a good home!) but at this point I dont have many other options.
ive had a few bites, but no one has come through yet and I needed to sell this in December. I know for a fact the price is really nice, lower than kbb, and considering it still has a warranty and the custom off-road wheels that are included (with oem too), it's a steal.

In both cases, we were satisfied, as didn't have to deal with the hastle of having to sell it ourselves. You walk in with the car, you walk out with cash. Easy and simple. No regrests.
You've gotta remember, what you're trying to do... which is selling your car... they have to do too. So, they need to pick it up for a price where they can spend the money to clean it up, advertise it, pay their bills, and still turn a profit. There's no harm taking it there to get an idea of what they'd pay, but you have to be willing to let it go for wholesale.
GL... I'll forward it to a buddy of mine who may be interested.
Stephen
EDIT:
PS. Don't go by KBB's figures for your G-ride, as it doesn't really apply for more specialized cars like yours.
PSS. Car looks great with the black mudder wheels!

thanks for the response!
I have already gotten a price from CarMax...months ago when I first thought to sell it, I laughed at the number they gave me, now its January and the price they gave me isnt too bad
Id still much rather see it to a good home, but that might mean waiting another month before someone ends up buying it.
*sigh* we'll see I guess

Seriously the best looking G I've seen. I love the wheels. I wish I could take it off of your hands, but I drive 70 miles round trip every day just for work. I think that the 10-12 mpg would kill me. Try to hold out for a good home, it is too nice to get wasted on carmax.
