The reciever in the front gives you very good protection from all angles... and if we use that mindset... the V1 absolutely blows... poor laser protection from all angles, and with that, It only detects laser - no jamming.

i have heavily researched radar detectors and i am convinced the V1 is the way to go

the laser jammers do not work that well and are really just a marketing technique

plus if the jammers worked that well, mike valentine would be the first to use them!!!!!!!!!! lol
sorry dave but had to share some knowledge

I guess I'll share some experience... the laser jammer's do work. That's a fact - i've seen them in action. Many times - they work very well in fact. Alert goes off - "Shifting laser" I slow down - then turn off the shifters. Works like a charm, and has saved my butt quite a few times. Good luck getting hit with rear laser using a V1 - then again, good luck getting hit with front laser using a V1. I have nothing against the V1 - I used one for a while - but after getting a ticket from a laser gun, while using a V1, I thought it best to try something else.

Well for a product that blows.... I have had both... There is a reason my car is Hardwired with a V1... enough said right?

No the V1 Saved my *** at least 4 times today... With the cops in Laguna setting up speedtraps every day it saves me/ warns me at least once a week... THANKS MIKE!...

You will have a better time selling these on ebay. The majority of us stand behind board member Mike and his product!

i have the srx in my speed yellow c4 and it works. save my *** few times ( radar only). don't think laser works..... went off several when riding in the north ga mtns..no cops around/nothing but trees..... cost too damn much. i have to replace the receiver up front ($290 plus installation).... passport customer service sux.... good luck in trying to get them to answer your questions about the product ( tech support is a joke)... can't buy replacement parts from them...their c/s dept will tell you to take your car to an authorize srx dealer so that they could bend you over.

good product...customer service sux.......my detector.......v1
