It's not a beginners bike, it's 1400cc, it's like a Hyabusa...it's more or less a drag bike, you should start w/ something no more than 600cc

Get what feels most comfortable. You can get in as much "power" trouble with a 600 as well.

This is an awesome bike, if I was in the market for something like this I would grab it.

I don't recommend you go with the Kawi as a first bike, Hayabusa is better choice.

1400??? Wow, nevermind, had no idea it had crazy power. I was thinking along the lines of 600cc.

a busa is just as powerful and the kawi is actually a bit smoother delivery, still very fast. it is not a beginners bike more so for the weight. has your friend ever ridden a bike bf?? if no then a 600 might even be too much. he would then want something very light to get used to the weight etc, so tell him to buy a cheap one for a couple months then get on this bad boy

awesome bike best of luck with the sale, i drove one of my friends they are actually quite comfortable compared to the other sport bikes out there
