Chris -
The reason I am selling is strictly due to my wife's desire to have a "new" SUV. She wants a Mercedes ML. I really like the Touareg - it's got great power and has anything I would ever want in an SUV.
Urgh!
Here's an inside shot I took yesterday. I could certainly take some more.

Hmmm....

Its a nice car alright. I think I've seen it before, then again Jack Daniels VW plate covers could be on any number of black Touaregs. You've never almost hit a guy crossing the street in NYC with it have you?

I think his answer would depend on whether you were in the crosswalk or not, and who had the right of way??

No near-hits (at least that I ever saw
I'm frequently walking in NYC - it's the cabs and buses that have no mercy.

Forgot about this thread

I can typically see the buses coming out of the corner of my eyes when reading the newspaper, but those damn cabs are a *****. Pedestrian-raping sons a *****es...

Actually I may have been jay-walking that time I was nearly hit, but hell, the cops do that here in New York, no one is getting blamed for that.

dbeck - PM sent.
Scryer - I've always thought that crossing in the middle of the street is often safer than at the crosswalk in NYC.

Beautiful car, unfortunately I am looking for the diesel version (yes, I know the fuel costs +$4/gallon). Good luck.

forget the taxis and buses, watch out for the bicycle messengers......talk about "look both ways......"
