You are correct on the 2008 pricing, however the 2009 pricing has gone into effect for orders being booked NOW with a $3,500 price increase on both the 6MT and R-Tronic. Thanks for your good wishes !

Several have been offered on the West coast in the $200K range WITHOUT the EXTRAS my R8 offers!
Obviously you are not educated on R8 pricing. My R8 with the options from the factory, delivery and gas guzzler MSRP $135K, add the dealer installed carbon, Milltek Exhaust, extra wheels and tires, Audi Care, Cover and Valentine One and the REAL MSRP is significantly higher.
My reason for selling is a very personal business issue where ownership of the R8 is having a negative impact on my company image. Difficult to discuss here as some might not understand the implications, however my decision to sell the R8 has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the R8, it's performance, quality, dealer or service. I simply could not be more impressed or pleased with the ownership experience. This is a very tough decision for me personally, but one that has to occur. As hard as it may be for you to understand, selling is not about making money, although since it is necessary the car will sell for market.

I sense a condecending tone in your reply... Why the negative tone?
"Obviously you are not educated on R8 pricing."
"As hard as it may be for you to understand, selling is not about making money.."

Why all of the posts regarding his price? It is HIS for sale thread. If you don't like the price, just dont bother saying anything. Obviously, the market will determine the price and if it sells, great price....if not, let the lowering begin. But seriously, one comment after the other going on about his price gets people nowhere.

To OP: Beautiful car, that is a pretty decent price considering the market and you including all the aftermarket parts for the price.
Just curious but what business are you in that your clients are giving you this kind of headache?

Just had to comment, that is the best looking R8 this side of the moon. Do you have any pics of the carbon interior or engine bay would love to see it. My R8 is being built 3d quarter and can't wait. Have you pushed the car by chance, just would like to hear first hand if it is all that and a bag of chips, espacially the R-Tronic. Thanks Jason

not really... most of R8s are sold just a little above MSRP in nj, as matter of fact bell south sold 3 R8s one was in the 130s and the other two were in the 140s...
