Imagine what the Canadian price would be if the Canadian R8 had ALL the accessories included with my R8..........Significantly more than my asking price to be sure!

Holy crap--are the non-optioned R8's really selling at almost $180k?
What do they sticker again? Like $120?
Mad props for driving the car for 3,000 miles and making some extra dough! I'd do it too!

...
That being said, that is one beautiful R8. What are you going to move into next?

Several have been offered on the West coast in the $200K range WITHOUT the EXTRAS my R8 offers!
Obviously you are not educated on R8 pricing. My R8 with the options from the factory, delivery and gas guzzler MSRP $135K, add the dealer installed carbon, Milltek Exhaust, extra wheels and tires, Audi Care, Cover and Valentine One and the REAL MSRP is significantly higher.
My reason for selling is a very personal business issue where ownership of the R8 is having a negative impact on my company image. Difficult to discuss here as some might not understand the implications, however my decision to sell the R8 has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with the R8, it's performance, quality, dealer or service. I simply could not be more impressed or pleased with the ownership experience. This is a very tough decision for me personally, but one that has to occur. As hard as it may be for you to understand, selling is not about making money, although since it is necessary the car will sell for market.

Looking at a Cayenne GTS, no decisions made at this point. I have had seven Porsches and never a comment by my customers regarding what I drive. The R8 has created heartburn for my customers beyond anything I can tell you. I really think it is about not knowing what the R8 is and in the uneducated view it looks to be in the F430 or Merci price range and that does not sit well. HELL, my 05 997 Turbo "S" Cab was $20K more than my R8 and in two years I had only one negative comment. WHO wood a thunk ?

Again, congrats on buying (and now selling) an amazing car!
Oh, and on the Audi website, the official MSRP is $109k plus options--so yours must be absolutely optioned to the hilt!
Edit: Just spec'd one out and added every single possible option (including R Tronic) and it came to almost $135k.
