2008 Lexus IS-F For Sale: Mercury Metallic/Black
Hey guys/gals, I am about to post her up on ebay and get some dealer quotes, the time has come to move her on out. I've only had this car for several months and I absolutely LOVE IT! But, I have another car project I'm about to start and so I am going to put the IS-F up for sale to free up some cash. If she moves, great...if not, then that's ok too. Before posting her up on ebay and getting dealer quotes, I figured I would post her up for sale here first to see if there are any "F" lovers that would be interested.
2008 Lexus IS-F
--Mercury Metallic/Black
--$62k sticker (see below in pics)
--Other than the sticker options, I spent $600 on the 3M clear bra for the front bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors as well as plastic clear floor mats to protect the carpet and window tint. Lastly I have a nav screen clear protector to guard against potential scratches on the nav screen.
--This car runs strong and I put her on the dyno to see how much rear wheel horsepower she makes and the result was 358 rwhp and 338 rwtq (this is the highest power stock IS-F I have seen/heard of).
--No dings, no scratches, no paint chips, no dings/scratches on the wheels, she is in perfect shape.
--3,600 miles
--I am looking to get $55,900... Please email me at pblach@att.net if you are interested.

Can you give some feedback on the performance, I read the car and driver article. What can you compare the performance to?

Thanks everyone for the great comments!
PAR - yea, I have owned an IS350 as well, great car too...
Duane - sure, I can give you a few lines on performance. The BEST thing about this car (in my opinion) is that you can put her in D (drive) and drive her like an IS250 and get 20+ mpg all day long. She is quiet, makes no noise and really delivers the "Lexus" experience. On the other hand, bring the rev's above 3,600 rpm and she completely transforms into a different animal (think Jekyl and Hide). Pulls hard all the way to redline, has the instant V8 TQ from all RPM's and can be a brute if asked. The transmission shifts like nothing I've ever experienced and the blips the throttle on downshifts... Of course the 6-piston Brembo brakes and suspension are a whole other story, they are great! Interior creature comforts are very Lexus like...Mark Levinson stereo, bluetooth, back-up camera, etc... I prefer this car to the M b/c you don't have to rev it to get the TQ and the quality of the Toyota brand is hard to beat. I prefer it over AMG primarily b/c of quality and at the end of the day the AMG (C63) only makes 22 rwhp more (I have seen 2 dyno in Houston, one at 378 rwhp and one at 380 rwhp). I hope that helps...

BMW, Mercedes, and especially Porsche are notorious for this. Having to pay for floormats in a 911 turbo get real!
