FS: 2005 Campagna T-rex SO-CAL
I think it's time to let go of my 2005 Campagna T-Rex. This thing is absolutely amazing. It's a blast to drive around and the best part is when you're riding in the Canyons and motorcyclists have to wave you by. The T-rex just sticks to the road with the giant steamroller tire in the rear. I can't begin to tell you how much attention this thing gets. People constantly are taking pictures on the freeway, kids pose next to it when it's parked, and you can't stop for gas without people wanting to talk to you about it. If you don't want the attention DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
This is a 1200cc model with the motor from a Kawasaki ZZR-1200. There was a split in this model year where they went with a smaller rear rim/tire but this is the model with the wider rear 315.
Other options:
Carbon Fiber Kit
Lexan front windshield
Has about 2,000 miles
$35k obo
Feel free to ask any questions.

Okay, so maybe this is an obscure question, but isn't this classified as a motorcycle? So can you use the carpool lane? Can you lane split (if you can fit)? This could be a much better choice then a used Prius with carpool stickers!

It is classified/registered as a motorcycle but I'm not sure about the legalities of driving this thing in the carpool lane. It's kind of a gray area with this vehicle because it's classified as a motorcycle but since it's over 9' and has 3 wheels and is technically "enclosed" because of the front windshield you don't have to wear a helmet. When you're driving it it looks more like a small car than a motorcycle. I guess it could possibly be up to the discretion of the police officer if he wants to hassle you. It's definitely too wide to lane split. It's not that narrow of a vehicle. To sum it up, I have no idea if you can drive in the carpool by yourself but at the very least it gets pretty decent gas mileage while being way more fun to drive than a Prius.

Thanks. I should have done some google searching before posting. Look's like you are right, no go on the carpool lane.

This one was built in Canada when Campagna was based in Canada. They were recently acquired by a company in the US that was building the CIRBIN v13r (another 3 wheeled machine).

There's some info there on the Cirbin along with links to the T-Rex as well. This was Canadian made but has all the documentation and correct CARB and EPA stickers put on my Campagna before they brought it into the states. No problem registering it as I had no problems at all in California.
