Unfortunately no. The shop in Arizona that found the problem hasn't gotten back to me and the one in San Diego doesn't want to give a quote unless he sees it.

It will be more like a few thousand parts and labor. The pistons are $600+ and then you need rings, a gasket kit, and labor on top of that.

not sure if you already addressed it but why won't the original installer not honor their workmanship and fix it for you? hope i'm not hitting a sore point here...

Thanks man. It's not the fault of the original installer, but the tuner. Unfortunately the tune did not come from a huge shop, but from a friend. It's water under the bridge though.
