Hey guys i am parting with my Jeep as i need a true 4x4. This truck has been a blast to drive but i need something i can take offroad. I will be picking up a Range Rover supercharged big body or Mercedes G55.

My brother was attempting negotiate on this truck. Nice ride! However, he found a '08 in San Francisco with only 2400 miles on it for $34,500. Every option available was included. Buyers market on these things.

How much can it safely tow?

I believe the owners manual states its towing capactiy is around 3700 lbs. The regular Grand Cherokee Laredo is rated above 7000+ lbs. The SRT8 has much more power and beefy drive train than the Laredo. I guess Chrysler would have never guess someone would have custom fabbed a hitch for this truck....thats the only reason i can see the SRT8 load cap being lower than the Laredo...
