For Sale: ACS McLaren Viper
Never heard of this car before... *no affiliation etc.*
-------------------
2006 ASC Diamondback Viper powered by McLaren. This is a one of a kind concept show car that can now be purchased by a private investor. This was a Chrysler Corporation concept show car built for Dodge in 2006 for the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Its development cost was $750,000. McLaren Performance Technologies built this Viper engine with 615 horsepower. It has a very unique custom in-hood trumpeted air intake system with individual port throttles. Features include custom carbon fiber body panels throughout, special stainless steel quad outlet exhaust, custom carbon fiber racing stripe with “McLaren Orange” and “Viper Blue” accents. This is a one-off factory McLaren Viper that has great upside potential for the right investor. Only 55 original miles. Priced to sell for $295,000.

From what it seems McLaren Perf. Tech. is the US version of the company and seems to no longer be affiliated with McLaren Automotive of F1 fame.

If I am not mistaken, it was the VCA raffle car a year or two ago - someone won it and wants to make some serious cash. If I were them I would have sent it to Barrett & Jackson and let the market set the price; however, no matter what the winner gets is money in the bank albeit they did have to pay taxes on it (around $100-125k from what I recall).

WOW interesting car no doubt but in this economy, I think people would be hard pressed to find a buyer for their CGT at $300k.....
Viper no way it will ever sell but it's gotta be the coolest viper I've seen
