The benefit the dealer has is the ability to finance the neg equity of the traded car into the new loan. So, for the average Joe that doesn't understand the financing or doesn't care, the dealer makes for an easy transaction.
Of course, a cash paying buyer should seriously consider your car. It's a good deal for sure.
PS. You may want to inquire with Porsche about getting a refund on the warranty. Perhaps, you can get it all back. That way, you can have a real attractive starting price and not get raped. I did that on my SLK55.

Suprised this didn't go at $42k as that seems to be a fair price (especially considering this is really the time of the year to buy a cab).
