Man, this is a Tony commercial!! Are you guys in on the sale too???

Good to hear about the back seats...the wife is cool but would not want me buying something I cannot take the kiddos for a ride in. I bought the M3 cab instead of a Boxster S so I could have 4 seats. M5 as a daily driver for the same reason. As far as the 993TT, I think I just got lucky that it had rear seats because she would have given me a hall pass on that one, but since I am not selling it I think it will be hard to get something I cannot take the kiddos in.

Does the rollbar impede entrance into the rear seats for kids? I can't tell if it has a side bar that comes across the middle of the car or not.

Sorry to be high maintenance but maybe a shot of the back seat area with the seat folded up would help me out. I will also see if I can find another photo of the tequipment rollbar on my own. Thanks! I am talking to my car guy today about moving my M5 and my M3 for me to do this or another modded 996TT that is local.

Thanks for the info! I had no idea. I really like the fact that it is in there for DE events, but nonetheless I have to be able to get my kids in the back seat.

Do 996's have the automated airbag turn off switch for the front seat? My 993TT did not come with one, so I had to add one from the airbag switch people online. It works great and my nine year old can now ride up front which solves part of my problem.

Do not let your children (or anyone) ride in the back seat with a roll bar in place. They will hit the roll bar in the event of any accident or hard deceleration with a terrible outcome.

Holy shiz! I had not thought of that...thought it was high enough out of the way but I guess anyone can get thrown around in a wreck. Thank you.
