FS: 996TT 2002 Seal Gray/Black&Gray
For sale is my 2002 Seal Gray 996TT. This car has been meticulously taken care of for the two years I've owned it. The clutch was replaced a year ago, and the transmission was replaced three years ago due to a second gear pop-out issue. The car runs solid. A leak down test was performed on the car recently with no issues discovered.
The car runs extremely well. It has been a solid performer since the day I bought it. The car made an official 7.98 pass, and had a 7.52 pass thrown out because of errors with the Driftbox. With 59K miles on the clock, it still has a very solid and stable feel to it.
The upgrades include:
-Light weight fly wheel and clutch package from Ultimate Motor Werks
-UMW also supplied a 93 Octane flash that pairs up well with the stock K16 turbos.
-The car will be sold with the stock exhaust, but 300 Cell Cat straight pipes are available with the sale.
-Equipped with GT2 suspension and has been corner balanced and aligned recently by arguably the best Porsche shop in Houston.
-H&R rear sway bar and Agency Power front and rear sway bar links.
-The car was converted to rear wheel drive, for a number of good reasons.
-The engine has been cleaned, and isn't spotless, but is close to it.
-The stock turbo twist wheels have been powder coated in a flat/satin black paint.
-The tires are Sumitomo's and have 50% tread left on the rears and 75% left on the fronts.
-The hood & front bumper were repainted recently, which turned out perfect, replacing rock chips & imperfections from the past 7 years.
-The center console has been painted and is a Piano Black matching the factory carpet.
-The adjacent trim pieces were covered in black ultra-suede.
-The air filter has been replaced with a K&N drop in filter.
Overall, I would give this car a 9. The car is the fastest stock K16 car on the 60-130 list(Sticky in 996TT/GT2 forum), beating out many hybrid 600+ HP cars. The car dynoed 480 RHP. The interior color and condition is superb. The mechanical condition is excellent. You won't be disappointed.
Please contact me, and I will put you in touch with a list of available shops in Houston that can complete a Pre-Purchase Inspection.
The car is being sold because I was recently let go of my job as a pilot, here in Houston. Additionally, I was recently married and need to focus more on my future, at least for the next couple years .
My car is priced for a fast sale at $41,500.
Contact me by PM or by email at alcorndog()at()gmail.com for more details.
Thanks,
Ryan

Sorry to hear about the job loss, and good luck with the sale.
You might want to talk to NetJets. I read in this week's Economist (April 4-10 issue, A special report on the rich, page 9) that they're hiring 12 new salespeople in a bid to capture market share from corporations who don't want the stigma of owning a company jet in the current economic climate.

No need to worry about me and the job. I'll be fine. Things always happen for a reason and truly believe that God is in control, always. Thanks very much for the kind words.

You wanna trade for a C4S? Oh wait, that'd be backward
Hey, who did your conversion to RWD - thinking of doing the same. PM me if you get the chance I don't want to highjack the thread.
Bump for a sweet ride.
