i am the second owner.....no accidents, ever of anykind. ...The owner lived here in phoenix, Dallas and florida and would drive back and forth....
As far as a smaller turbo..
the issue is that it has the high redline with vtech kicking in...and must be kept under 15psi....
the smaller turbo did make TQ sooner by about 450 rpm, but ran outta steam at the higher RPM's mostly because it wanted to make more boost... After 500 hp it was just making more hot air, not power
the trade off is slightly later boost, much higher HP...
its strange though as the NSX motor revs so fast that it doesnt have the "lag" that you might think from looking at the dyno plots....3500 RPM and you feel the rush start...it never "hits" like a supra....its just fast from the get go....
a couple supra guys have ridden in it and they freak out! its like a 8K redline big block car
