The only thing missing from the original smog equipment is the cat. I can put one on the car for you once I receive a deposit.

Eh, yes and no. The listing needs more exposure. Ebay should help with that.

It's the ECONOMY... That's keeping this thing from moving..

This car would have sold a long time ago if people could get financed. I've had lot's of interest in this car even when the price was at 32k with the gold wheels/tires and coilovers on the car. The price is o.b.o. by the way. I'm not firm on 26k even though the car is worth every penny of it. This car cannot be duplicated for what I'm asking. I did all the work including the paint job (easy 5k at a reputable body shop) and I still have over 32k in it.

Economy/price. The car is super clean from the looks of it. Back 3-4 years ago a clean ls1 FD with mods like yours was going for 30-32k. Now you will be lucky to get 20k. I would hold on to it for a bit. The car is awesome.

Thanks for the kind words, but I think your a little off on your pricing. "Lucky to get 20k"?. I've already turned down cash and trades worth more. 3-4 years ago crappy budget swaps were bringing 28-32k. It gets annoying when people try to compare cars, but don't really know what all went into them. Not all ls1 rx7's are created equal. There are too many tire kickers on most of these forums IMO (no offense). The car just needed some more exposure to get the attention it deserves. A lot of people interested in a car like this don't even get on forums. I've already talk to a couple serious buyers on the phone for almost an hour from eBay. I should have listed the car on there a long time ago... We'll see where eBay takes it.

Lots of interest has been generated from eBay. The auction has one day left.

The buying public does not place such a high premium on the detailed nature of your conversion vs the others that have sold for less. Not hating just pointing out a lesson I learned long ago. It is something for all of us to keep in mind when doing such a conversion.

I never built this to sell originally, otherwise I wouldn't have put so much detail into it.

I just needed the car exposed a bit more to reach the right buyers. I'm currently working with two potential buyers from eBay. Both are 7-10 hrs away and are trying to come look at the car in the next couple weeks. We'll see..

Just like I told the two potential buyers I'm currently working with from eBay. The asking price now is $24k FIRM. I will keep the car before I go any less. I've seen backyard budget builds sell recently for 20-22k. This is a fair price.

Nice car. I have one also. I live in California so I had to go through the trouble of passing B.A.R. Certifications for emmissions but now its a 50 state legal car.

V8 Rx7's compete with cars 3-4x there price. where else can you get 50/50 weight distribution, 17 city 26 hwy MPG, 400+ tq and hp at the rear wheels with A/C and P/S and have 0.01% Co2 out the tail pipe for the money?
