The market dictates the value. The market was far ****tier in 09 than this year.

Just sold my 2004 Tectite Grey E55 and I'm ready (TODAY!) to buy a 2001-03 Porsche Turbo in Grey or White with under 40k miles. I'm a cash buyer at $40,000 firm.

There is a 04 for sale @ 40k in la

You probably won't find a white tt for 40k though, there almost none for sale...

Thanks! I like the color combo on that one, but don't want a Tiptronic.

I'm planning on going to see a local 2001 Seal Gray with 18k tomorrow morning. The owner is asking $42,500.

$40k is a total insult in my opinion. If you see a seal grey 01 with 18k for $42.5K then buy it but be careful of any car at dealer or an auction. These cars will be cheap for a reason.

Also, if you do suspension, performance mods, and maintenance then you'll be in the 50's making the white car a much better deal.

Just my .02
