If this car is still available some time this Summer, I may be able to pick it up. I highly doubt this perfect example will still be around though. Here is hoping and wishing I can come up with the money sooner.

I'm a bit sad also. Oh well, such is life. I'm glad you sold the beauty. The good part is, I did some research on the exhaust that you had on the car and it sounds amazing. I can at least satisfy the mod bug when I get a CGT with the exhaust that you had on there Wolf. I'm not one for the straight pipe mod; I didn't particularly like the grunt/fart type noises coming from the CGT but I do love this exhaust on the CGT. It kept all of the nice high tone F1 type noises that I am sure Porsche spent so much time trying to engineer to get right; just louder and more aggressive.

Guys, you are spot on!!! It was indeed bittersweet to see her go, especially since my escrow closing has been delayed 3 times which in turn enabled me to replenish my reserves. In the end I decided to sell anyways, given the rate at which my wife is buying furniture for a house that I don't yet own!!!
To heal my wounded ego, I bought PCJR's very tastefully modded silver Gen I GT3RS and it should be here tomorrow or Thurs. I told wifeypoo that I'm willing to make many sacrifices for the family, but I definitely have to draw the line at being Porsche-less!!! Best regards to all.

Wolf, congrats on the sale and nice consolation pick up!
I just saw this ad today or would have been on the ball. Looks like a perfect setup and my favorite combo after black ascot. Enjoy the new house as well. John

Thx for the kind words John. The sting of saying goodbye to the CGT has indeed been alleviated by the arrival of my PERFECT 07 GT3RS. It's the first time in my life that I have been able to buy a modded car that is EXACTLY what I would have done.
I believe that the GT3RS would have been the perfect car if Porsche just would have given it the 460-480hp that it deserved.
BTW, do you miss your Strad as much as I miss mine??? I'm going to have to fix that problem by getting a Scud!! Best regards.

Wolf,
Yes, its really nice to buy a car all set up. Its fun to mod cars and as you know, a total addiction, but once in a while, its great to just slide behind the wheel, have the car do just as you hoped and just drive it!
I only have wheel time in an 07 gt3, never an RS, is there a big difference? Pics?
I do miss the CS very much and think about another visit. I drove the scud on the track and its quite a car, but I would prefer the cgt ($ aside), although the scud is much easier to drive fast with very little drama.
I also miss the 550, great cruiser.
I am two years into a 512bb tt project that should be on the road in the next month or two. Hoping that will keep me occupied for a while.
