Long ago question I'm answering while trying to find a thread I posted.

My problem is it doesn't shift until you push it solidly 1/2 way down. I've never driven a car where you have to push the gas pedal so far to get it to downshift. Then sometimes it downshifts two gears when you expect one. So you go from 1700 rpm to 4000 rpm out of nowhere.

It also downshifts along with the engine and maintains what I guess it thinks is "optimum rpm." But you pull up to a stoplight sometimes and it doesn't downshift to neutral fast enough so it'll propel you an extra 5-10' forward due to the engine power combined with still being in gear. I'm just waiting until that makes me rear-end somebody.

I'm considering getting a G55 to replace it so if you still have this for sale let me know.
