F/S: WIDEBODY M3 SHOW Car
Hi all;
Well, we're putting feelers out and might possibly have to part with this show car.
You can more pics at www.moviecarz.com (logon using "craig" and "craig" as password & logon)
This is a show car. It is not a race car, it is not a daily driver. I have driven it often and its has 22,000 miles on it. It in fact drives very nice, handles very well with the wider track but candidly, the stereo and accessories hinder it a bit (weight wise).
I can appreciate that the extreme nature is over the top to many. Given that my business is building cars for movies, TV shows and media exposure, you'll understand my line of thinking as I built the car. It was built to be showy, flashy and as magazine subject matter. Thankfully, everything works and the car actually drives like a normal car. The shops we used to build the car are very reputable and we think you'll find the work quality to be quite good.
Many things are easliy removed with no ill effect...the roll cage, the TV blister on top of the dash and the Motec ADL (above the steering wheel) does not come with it.
We're looking for the best offer over $60K. There's about $50K in parts on the car and of course, a bunch in labor. The color is a Lambo candy blue.
As a point of reference, used M3's this year are running at about $42K.
The car is very photogenic and a number of magazines have committed to doing shoots with the car. It is a great attention getter. This would be a great car for the son of a well-to-do guy, perhaps a young person looking to show off an extreme ride a bit.

Gaack! M2D2 and his robotic girfriend seem to have curled up in your trunk. Or are those two 21st Century shop-vacs, maybe?...
Take all the crap off of it and KEEP the MoTeC dash and rollbar, and you'll be getting closer to saleability... Maybe...

LOL! No Lee, those are big subs...three of em, to be exact.
The system sounds fantastic and since we set this thing up with a center channel speaker, 5.1 surround for movies is part of the package. It sounds unbelievably clear and the bass will knock your socks off.
Again, I don't anticipate selling this to a person interested in running it around the track...more like someone looking to be a tad on the flashy side.
Nevertheless, with the SMG and wide track, the car is a blast to drive on canyon roads!
Hope I find a good home for it!

Nice Motec dash cluster., But the right way to do that is to remove the factory cluster and install the Motec in its place.
Typical all show and no go........
Car would be really nice without the stereo equipment.....
But hey to each his own...... If that turns ya on......... Go for it.
Nice color !!!!!!!!

Agreed...but the install was designed to be temporary...that unit is not going with the car...It's going in my 850hp Supra.
I'm perfectly willing to remove all the stereo and save the buyer some money if it comes to that. But again, as my first post suggests: this is a show/magazine car.
