if anyone is interested let me know... the car is under FULL warranty till 101k miles or 4/2015!!!! In addition to pics, it has SL63 trunk spoiler, and full 6000K lighting (led parking lights, license plate lights, and low beams) plus new rear tires (fronts only have 600 miles)..

anyways, i am so not 100% on doing this.. I just have a really sweet opportunity to buy a hotel with a few buddies and keep a few rooms for ourselves, and can use this money to do that and make my payment a lot sweeter...

The car without warranty and stock at manheim is going for $36-37k with these miles.. (plus fees, transport, and fixing the car up).. this car is a creampuff AZ car and no problems on carfax/autocheck..

Like I said I may not let it go.. but I can do under $50k for the car on the forum and before i even bother with ebay. I can sell with or without warranty.. the price is INCLUDING the warranty.

I don't know if I will even do this.. because its a once in a lifetime car.. its basically an SL65.. if you put ecu/tcu tune for $1500-2k the car is as good as an 07 SL65, and looks like 1... for a fraction of the cost.

Just making money and getting a couple free rooms in a nice place (and I love the beach) - makes me even ponder this so let me know via pm or respond here that you msged me.


Anyways about 3 weeks ago give or take a couple days, I was approached by someone selling a modified SL600 because of my WTB thread.. well I loved everything about it and worked out a great deal. Car also has a 5 yr/70k Chrysler Warranty on it! So I am good till 4/21/2015 or 100k (got it from Michael today - I was his contact on this forum back last year in mid 09) -- The car is an 04, and just hit 30k miles on my way home tonight (but doesn't look like an 04 )

Its turbo engine (its a 600 series S/CL/SL600s have v12 biturbo engines).. same turbos as the SL65.. its just a 5.5 liter and the 65 is a 6.0.. The SL600 stock is 493-507 hp / 590 torque **** depending on the year (they did this for insurance purposes up till 2008 I believe, and then gave it over 500hp)

the car with an ecu/tcu tune will be faster than a stock SL65 and the car also has a full 3" exhaust which outflows the sl65 exhaust, and also sounds better the car sounds straight exotic with the exhaust on it. The ecu tune gives the car since I have a full exhaust around 85+whp and around 150-160 tq. and these #s are to the wheels.

On another note, I ordered Avant Garde M328 wheels.. these are the wheels on the IWC edition SL63 (the matte white color sl63 that comes with the watch and stickers for like a $30k premium at around $185,000.

These wheels are concave and I am having these powder coated satin/semi gloss black. So it will accent the bling factor and also accent the matte pieces on the car. The center caps will be satin as well and the mercedes star will be glossy black like the 2 emblems on the car currently (grill and rear star under 3rd brake light). I will POST pics when they are installed!

 

Couple interior shots.. and to notice that there isn't the usual wear on the driver bolster.. mint sides, mint interior.. nothing to note.


I am also going to try and get a vid of the exhaust.. (basically sounds a notch sweeter than the SL65 stock). No drone whatsoever, its actually quiet.. hard to make a turbo car real loud without straight pipes. You can't hear it inside with the radio remotely on. Sounds intoxicating outside the car!


I have a few people interested. My buddies are really pressing me to partner up with them for this hotel, and I am looking to move the car now.

$47,000 WITH WARRANTY (this comes with the spoiler, all lighting upgrades, new wheels/tires, and ipod connection.
