E46 M3 had SMG II while M5/M6 have SMG III. SMG III is smoother than SMG II, but still takes some practice to master. Both have Launch Control by the way which is fun but crippled in the US to launch from 1800 RPMs due to our litigious nature.

Interestingly, it just came back on the market. It lasted two day and is now gone. I saw it on the website and called last night to try to buy it and missed it. I had the opportunity to ride in it about 6 months ago. Amazing machine.

no... almost a couple... but decided against them.. I may get an m5/m6 2008+ mod it up and keep it as my main car(i dont drive too much anyway)

then when i see an insane 997, maybe ill just scoop it up.. im all over the place lol

I don't know. I was too sick to even ask we he said it was gone.

I am back to a hunt for a unique 997TT, but would have preferred this M5. It was that crazy.
