My original LS7 block cracked a sleeve in April of 2009. I'm not sure whether it was just bad luck or detonation or both. My tuner suggested ERL build my new engine and I went with their top of the line 500 cubic inch package. As it sits right now, the car makes approximately 620whp and 570wtq (made 622/578 last time on the dyno). It has a very docile cam, pump gas compression, and a composite FAST intake manifold. If you wanted to go crazier, you could but I wanted to keep it a street car and it makes immense torque down low and still makes over 600whp up top. It should trap 140 in decent weather and it can handle a 200 hit of nitrous if you wish but has not seen any.
In the interest of full disclosure, the car has been drag raced exactly once at Lone Star park in Sealy, TX back when it had the old motor. It has also been road raced a handful of times at MSR Cresson. I have retained the dry sump system to maintain the integrity of the Z06. The transmission and differential are still stock and in perfect working condition. I just don't want to give the impression that this has been a garage queen.
I believe the private party value of a stock car with my options and mileage is around $44,000. While modifications do not usually add significant value to a car, I am in no hurry to sell and looking for a buyer that does associate some extra value with the more powerful engine. If you are seriously interested, I will be willing to work with you on getting a fresh detail job, taking it to the dyno of your choice, or answering any specific questions you have about the car, etc. That being said, I'm not going to post 100s of pictures, spec sheets, dyno sheets, etc in this thread. I have tons of references and I'd prefer you come check the car out and drive it.
My asking price is $49,000. You can contact me at kumizi@gmail.com
