This race car is just amazing. I don't think you could do the engine for 50K alone. Also, I love the fact the the builder skipped the fragile Porsche gear box in favor of a bomb proof sequential Hewland. The selection of that gear box will also go a long way to insuring the survival of this engine over the long haul, you will have to work at it to miss a shift with that baby. Something you can't say about nearly all 914 race cars.
