drivetrain never modified. stock from intake to exhaust. suspension and interior have been modified as follows-
autopower four point with attachments for front cage
sparco fighter FRP seats on sliders
sparco 3in four point camloch harnesses with pads.
enkei PF01 18x9 w/ 265 dunlop sparspecs- 1000 miles on set
greddy strut tower bars front&rear
ksport kontrol pro coilovers
agency power sways and end links
all products from vivid racing, all suspension/camber/corner weights set up by European Auto Garage in knox. will pull well over 1G on the pad, and i have seen as much as 1.25 on the gtechpro.
most of the miles on this car are from daily driving it since selling my mustang. this is a great car for autox, and would be a great first car for a teenage kid because of the safety equipment. the red stripes are scotchlite reflective vinyl, and can all be removed.
at one point in time i curbed the original wheels avoiding a shopping cart, and they are included, and another i got some chain link rash on the rear bumper while drifting, and instead of repairing it i replaced it with a new one and matched the paint. i will include a pair of rears, enkei RPF01's with 90% tread toyo T1R's for drift.
there is prob $10k aftermarket with parts, shipping, installation, setup, etc. but lets forget about all that.
book value is a bit over $23,000, but lets forget that too.
what i want out of this car is $20,000. NO LESS offering less would be an insult.

yeah they are on sparco sliders, they are flipped to allow more closeness to the wheel right now, but you can turn them around to where youre up against the cage. im 6 foot even, and with it back as far as it will go, my legs cant touch the pedals. if youre much taller than me, i would not recommend an RX8. you will have headroom issues with a helmet on.

ive been drooling over this but just havent pulled the trigger. i think it might be a good starter car for track racing.
do you have any videos of it driving? pictures of the new stock power seats? is the roll bar still installed? how wide are the sparco seats/what size are they?

the stock seats are like any other rx8 seat, just with that special interior color, the rear cage is still in, took the front out because it would not fit correctly with the sparco seats, the seats are big enough for a rather large fellow, i have some friends that are 250+ and they dont get stuck. you are welcome to come check it out if you are in the area.
it would be a great car for a beginning track racer. the rx8 in stock form is formidable because of its neutrality, and when PROPERLY modified it is hard to beat. no need to worry with a dry sump oiling system with a rotary either.
