I am selling my 2006 GMG tuned 997S. Its been a lot of fun but I think its time for a GT3.
Background: I am the second owner and I purchased this car from Virginia and had it shipped to SoCal. I have a full maintenance history for the car and stamped maintenance book to prove it. All maintenance has been performed by either Tyson Porsche VA, Pioneer Porsche CA, and GMG Racing. Full receipts to back-up work completed. Cosmetically, the car is virtually blemish free without so much as a swirl mark. I am meticulous with my vehicles!

Now for pricing. I am realistic and I realize I am not going to get my money back on the modifications.
According to Kelly Blue Book, a 997S with my options and miles in excellent condition is valued at around $58K. I have invested $22.9K in mods. If I take %50 of that, which is considered somewhat standard, I would value the car at $69,450. But lets assume that mods are not even worth %50 of their value and instead I want to get just %30 out them. Then the car is valued at around $65K.
So I am asking $65K or best offer in its current modified form.
Understand this a highly tuned 997S modified by one of the most respected Porsche tuners in the country. I am offering this car "as is" for those that can appreciate what it is. Even at $65K, the car is much more affordable than a 997.1 GT3 in similar condition and only slightly more than similar condition 997S's.
Now I realize that that modifications are worth much more on their own and there may be some interested parties in the parts alone. I plan on listing the car in its current state for a few weeks and then reverting the car back to stock at which point I will be asking $58K. All mods will be sold with asking prices in the vicinity of %60 of their original value depending.
Please PM me if you are at all interested in either the parts or the car. If there is interest in the parts seperately the car will be going back to stock sooner.
If you are interested you can PM me or email me at Jellis0fmee@aol.com
Thanks for looking,
Jason

Good luck with the sale Jason. You've put a lot of money into that car, and it is a real looker. Glad you're selling it in preparation for a GT3. From what I've been told, they are fantastic. I'm afraid to even try one, as I don't want to tempt myself.

997.1 GT3/GT3RS or a 997.2 GT3... I wont be in the market for about another 8-12 months so I am hoping prices continue to drop on the 997.2s. Guess we will see....
