BNR34 SKYLINE GTR N1 EDITION

Fifteen years ago from this date, a heating race series in Japan called the N1 race was born. This race was known for its strict regulations which firmly limited the boundaries of the participantsf vehicle modifications. There, in order to claim victory in this competitive game, Nissan Motor Company worked day and night putting their heart and soul into the creation of the BNR32 Skyline GTR N1.
This N1 edition GTR incessantly displayed exceptional results, setting a record of 50 continuous race victories.
500 BNR32 N1 editions were produced; however, most of these machines were immediately purchased by professional race teams unable to fall into the hands of a regular enthusiast.

N1 SPEC ENGINE DATA

The N1 engine basically was designed to produce 450 horsepower and still had plenty of endurance to keep going; mostly because of its strengthened internals. The strengthened cylinder block, oil pump, water pump, and other components makes up a far superior unit than the normal RB26 unit.

NUR SPEC ORIGIN

The term Nur comes from the famous German race track, Nurburgring Circuit. The Nurburgring stretches 20 kilometers per lap and consists of 180 turns. The altitude differs up to 300 meters from high to low to make up a lenghthy and high velocity race course. The Nissan research and development team challenged the sportscars around the world with this machine and continually strived to build a vehicle that was nearly equivalent to a GT machine. The final result was the BNR34 Nur Spec edition.

NUR SPEC ENGINE DATA

Basically, the Nur Spec engine has many similar aspects as the RB26-N1, but was taken even further with fully balanced pistons and connecting rods to produce a high performing assembly with lasting stamina. The exclusive color decor of this engine unit signifies the special nature of the assembly.

LIMITED EDITION EXCLUSIVE NUR SPEC RB26

Since there were only 1000 of these cars manufactured by Nissan, it is even more impossible to locate an engine.
However, through trial and tribulation we have finally collected stock so these units can be purchased in the United States.

This magnificent one-off 240Z is estimated to be ready for customer delivery on or before May 30, 2011 and is available for $69K. Please call Cleve Meredith to discuss: 404-226-9766

That rolling chassis belonged to a good friend of mine.
It is super clean top to bottom.
Would love to see this Z put together!
